One of my favorite shots from my walk in the DogPatch.
Better Photos from your Phone
Normally the photos from my phone suck. They are washed out, have no sharpness nor any contrast. It’s a crap camera that doesn’t even produce interesting crappy images in the way that other crappy cameras (Holga) do. But no longer – now they are magically as cool and funky and hip as those old crappy cameras ever were. I give you CameraBag. It’s the second best iPhone application I own (aside from Zen Garden Sudoku). Buy it, install it and use it – you will be amazed at how much better your lens becomes.
Why would I even take the time to post about phone photos? Because so many of us are capturing great moments from our phones. Because this simple tool lets us put an entirely new lens on top of the world around us that’s constantly begging for it to be captured. Because it will show you how much value there really is in such a craptastic device such as your phone. Because less is more. Because I wanted to show off some photos I took

DogPatch Warehouse

Peeking through the broken window of an abandoned warehouse in the DogPatch. There are some incredible old port buildings that are soon to be destroyed. It’s quite sad, they are wonderful buildings.
